So sometimes you come across a design that is so simple yet useful that you wonder why you didn't come up with the idea.  Like those plastic tab things that hold close bread bags or post-it notes.  Well I ran into something today that made me feel like that, it is so simple and yet I will never have to worry about spilling my coffee all over my hand while I illegally run across the street again ^______^  It is little green swizzle stick that is also a stopper that plugs the hole in the lid of your cup.
Okay so I'm easily impressed.

ratzeo and I had a short RP thing that he wanted to have but didn't fit in during last session. I think my fellow gamers would like to know what went down so I am posting it, though not in its original form zinjadu helped me translate it into a more story format.

Well not really I don't think I would ever actually consume my cosplay, be consumed by it yes, but not actually 'taste' it.  Any hum, I am soooo close to the finish, I've kinda cut it close this year but it will all be done. Yesterday aznridah came over to help out with the belts, and by help out I mean was immensely talented and did stuff I couldn't even start to do.  So yesterday was really productive though as it crept into the 12 hour of working on it I kinda felt spent. I only have one more piece to complete and I hope to get it finished tonight, though it is proving more tricksy then I had anticipated, but I won't let that get me down!

I don't have any real reason to post I just realized its been awhile since I've posted last, I figured it was due.  The only problem with this that I see is I have nothing in particular to post about.

Well I've been doing my cosplay lately and its been going much slower then I would like, but I've never missed a cosplay deadline and I'm not gonna miss this one.  I guess I just wish I was as far along this year as I usually am by this time.  I think I'm gonna have to rearrange the living room furniture to give me more space and not let anyone into the apartment for three days in order to catch up.  This and a steady supply of Diet Coke to keep me goin and I'll be done in no time.

Oh speaking of Diet Coke I have completely, utterly failed at limiting my caffeine consumption.  I have continued to order my lattes as split shots but the two soda limit.... well lets just say I haven't been limiting. I think I'm gonna try again after con cause I know I'll just break it again if I try before then.

Other than that I have been watching the BBC Robin Hood series and I really like it even though it is really, truly, terrible.

So I am determined to cut down on caffeine. No, really I mean it! After like two weeks of seriously overdosing on caffeine I'm ready to cut back. I'm ordering my lattes as split shots and limiting myself to two diet cokes a day. I know it doesn't sound like cutting down but this is like a fourth of the caffeine I normally drink.

Last night I was watching the new King Kong with music_enforcer and zinjadu. I had heard good things about this movie and we were gonna watch it in High Def so I was pretty excited, but the happy feeling lasted for only a little while. I really didn't like this movie I felt it was a million dollar piece of crap. None of the animals acted like animals! I don't care if it's a dinosaur, predators don't act like that!  And was that  giant Brontosaurus katamari necessary. Kong carrying the girl around the way he did would of killed her like a terrier with a rat.  She didn't die from her neck being snapped in fact she didn't have a scratch on her! No really! Not a scratch and her hair was perfect. Watching the whole movie through was painful, the woman acted insane. I didn't see a touching story of a girl and her monkey, I saw a woman in serious need of a padded room. We all cheered when it finally, after what seemed like forever, reached its climatic end. 

I can't seem to get to sleep. It might be that I drank too much caffeine today, I did drink like 5 or 6 diet cokes. It might be the terrible weather, the wind is blowing pretty hard. But I really think that it is the really really loud sex that my upstairs neighbors are having. I mean really, it's like 2:30 does she have to scream that loud?

I can't remember the last time I was really sick. Usually if I start feeling poorly I fight it off in a day or so but I'm on to day three and I don't really feel any better. I'm tanked on over the counter medication mostly so I don't hate life and now am participating in the well loved custom of whining to my livejournal. I'll stop whining in a moment...maybe.

So I'm exited 'cause Halloween is tomorrow! Not that I can go Trick or Treating or anything which is unfortunate, but I'm determined to have fun anyway. I'm planning on going to work in costume, not the costume I wore on Saturday cause that would be not okay, but an appropriate work safe costume...I have one some where >.> Then after work music_enforcer promised  me pumpkin carving and a movie :D I don't know what to carve yet but I want it to be something difficult and completely awesome, cause pumpkin carving is an art form... well, at least to me it is. I should remember to go get candy to munch on while completing my pumpkin masterpiece! Muhahahaha!
